ESOCC traditionally includes a special track, named as European Projects track, entirely devoted to presenting results and perspectives of EU research projects on Service-Oriented and Cloud Computing. This track features a good opportunity for both presenters to disseminate the results of their project and for participants to get an updated view of the ongoing research on these two areas.
The EU Projects track follows a two-step publication process. Firstly, the authors should submit abstracts of 1-5 pages summarizing the objectives of the project and the relevant results. Each submission will be reviewed by the program committee members based on the relevance and the soundness of the approach. If accepted, the authors will have to register in the conference in order to present their work at the EU Projects track of ESOCC 2020. After the conference, presenters will have to submit an extended version of their contribution (3-5 pages) which will be published in the Springer proceedings (CCIS series) of the ESOCC satellite events (e.g., workshops). No shows will be excluded from the final proceedings.
Each submission will be reviewed by at least 3 members of the technical program committee and should include:
– Project full name, acronym, duration (from-to) and URL
– A short description of the project consortium
– Summary of project objectives and expected tangible outputs
– Summary of current project results
Papers can be submitted via Easychair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=esocc2020) by selecting the “EU projects track”.
